My Third and Final ACEO Challenge ACEO

Outside of our kitchen garden window we have an arborvitae that stands at the east end of the window.  We also have a family of squirrels that nest in the tall blue spruce in our front yard.  The squirrels gather and bury nuts all over our yard, later they will dig up their little treasures and many a time I have been working in the kitchen and a motion will capture my attention outside of the window, I look up and I'll see a little squirrel happily munching on a tender nut morsel.

This happened again today and inspired my third and final entry in The ACEO Challenge which I have titled "Garden Window Visitor"....
Happy Day all!

  2. Those little squirrels are quite the characters! They never tire of challenging Danny Boy and the Hummingbirds! I may live in the city but wild life is here and abounds ... isn't it amazing?

We used you have a lady around the corner, she passed away a bit back, but she was known as the "Crow Lady" because she fed the crows and they flocked to her home. I really miss her, and I am sure the crows do as well.

  3. This is adorable Karen Anne! We have four squirrels on our property and we love watching them chomp on the pine cones and chase each other up and down the trees! Deb

  4. Isn't fun to watch the darling little critters?! It always amazes me how they can take a flying leap from a tree branch and make it all the way to a roof top!

What is more amazing is that the hummingbirds have taught the squirrels to "Stay Out" of their space! Even a squirrel isn't a match for a tiny hummingbird protecting his/her feeder! LOL!

    Merry Christmas Deb!
