Obviously I am on a Betta Binge! Just finished another little cutie today .... went for purple this time around!
"Bitty Betta #3"
This little ACEO original is available in my eBay Store:
And Open Edition ACEO art prints are available in my Etsy Shop:
I think I am having too much fun with littler charmers!
Happy Day!

The Betta fish you've been doing are wonderful. I wouldn't be able to pick a favorite if I had to beause each one is beautiful and unique. Your choice of colors and the line work is what makes them so special. I'm going to get some water color pencils the next time I'm out.
ReplyDeleteHope there's going to be a Betta #4. Hugs
Well, I'm having great fun with them! BTW, I find I really like the "General Kimberly" watercolor pencils, probably because I have 3 x's the amount of colors as I do in my Derwent Inktense set. As I recall, I think I picked them (the GKs) up at Michael's with a 50% off coupon.
DeleteI'm thinking I'm gonna do at least one or two more, I am practicing on the Betta's so that I can attempt a Mermaid. Figure I'll get the fins, tails, and scales down before trying a larger picture with a mermaid.
Have a great day Maddy Rose!
Each one is prettier than the next! I can't wait to see your mermaid!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie! I think I will be starting on it soon ... we'll see! 8)
DeleteI love this purple one!!! She is so pretty! How did I miss her? Mermaid???? Can't wait ;o)
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacy! I've never done a mermaid, and I figure Betta fins and tails would make for a gorgeous Mermaid! So I am using the "Bitty Betta" Series to become really comfortable with fins, tails and scales. The illustration is slowly forming in my brain ... this one will be larger than an ACEO though.
