"Forest Friendships"

Hi!  I have completed another watercolor illustration with my Niji waterbrushes and Yarka water paints.  I must say I really like this combination of tools!  I haven't really settled on a name for this piece, but have decided to call it "Forest Friendships" until I can come up with a better title.

It is a fun little piece that I have thoroughly enjoyed working on.

Happy Day!

  6. I absolutely love this...it looks like it should be an illustration in a childrens book....I live all the vibrant colors...I also use Yarka watercolors and I love them...I never heard of the Niji brushes though...I will look them up...also I love the title!

  7. Hey Deborah, Thank you so much! Niji brushes are brushes with a water reservoir .... you can find them at DickBlick.com .... I am so in love with them! I am a klutz from the word "Go" and what I like best is not dripping water from an overly saturated brush on what I am working on. I have a tendancy to forget what I am working with when I am working on something and I get careless and sloppy. The Niji brushes provide "Karen" control!
    LOL!
