"Forest Friendships"

Hi!  I have completed another watercolor illustration with my Niji waterbrushes and Yarka water paints.  I must say I really like this combination of tools!  I haven't really settled on a name for this piece, but have decided to call it "Forest Friendships" until I can come up with a better title.

It is a fun little piece that I have thoroughly enjoyed working on.

Happy Day!
Karen Anne aka IrelandBrady

  1. Karen Ann, this is amazing! I love all the little faces and the acorn on top of the squirrel's head, too adorable! Personally, I love the name you have given it ;o) Have a wonderful day!

  2. Ahhh, thanks Stacy! I value your input, "Forest Friendships" the title shall remain.
    Happy day my Canadian friend!

  3. Oh Karen Anne, this is pure MAGIC!!!!! I LOVE it!!!And yes, Forest Friendships is the perfect name. Are you going to do any ACEOs of the little " forest friends"? That would be sooooooo cute!!!

  4. Yeh, glad you are keeping "Forest Friendships" ;o)

  5. Hey Gecko! So happy you like it! I have made up little ACEO's, I just haven't posted them yet in my Etsy Shop. Guess I better get busy and do that?!

  6. I absolutely love looks like it should be an illustration in a childrens book....I live all the vibrant colors...I also use Yarka watercolors and I love them...I never heard of the Niji brushes though...I will look them up...also I love the title!

  7. Hey Deborah, Thank you so much! Niji brushes are brushes with a water reservoir .... you can find them at .... I am so in love with them! I am a klutz from the word "Go" and what I like best is not dripping water from an overly saturated brush on what I am working on. I have a tendancy to forget what I am working with when I am working on something and I get careless and sloppy. The Niji brushes provide "Karen" control!

Thank you for visiting, if you'd care to leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you!
