He is very proud!! I love him Karen Anne! Love that eye! Yeh, for finishing your taxes! I did my mom's, mine and my brother's! Have a great one, my friend ;o)
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacy ... this was a fun subject, I really enjoyed it ... but maybe I really enjoy so much because I no longer have the thought of taxes looming over my head! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour Mom and brother are sooooooooo lucky they have you!
Have wonderful weekend Stacy ... 8)
Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sherry! Welcome to my blog, come back often ... I always enjoy meeting new friends.
DeleteWhere's that darn "like" button! Love the leaf-like feathers!
ReplyDelete:-)
LOL! I know Lise! Hmmmmm, the feathers do look like leaves don't they ...
DeleteHave a happy day Lise!
Your eagle is beautiful. Congrats on getting your taxes done. I still need to get mine completed.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maddy Rose! I think this is the first eagle I have ever done.
DeleteThe taxes aren't quite done, just the hard part of getting everything together. Next we meet with the tax lady in about 2 weeks. The really hard part will be PAYING the taxes! LOL!
What a presence! The whitish head and neck remind me of the gray hair on a wise older character and the feathers look like a costume of acorn layers. I love it.
ReplyDeleteYour orbital easel sounds wonderful, especially no longer having to hurt your back leaning over the table any longer! ♥
Thanks Gloria, I love how you saw acorn layers ... when I looked again, I could see how you saw that!
DeleteYep, the orbital easel is totally awesome!
Where did the comment go? I just left it and poof it disappeared!
ReplyDeleteIt got sent to my email to approve for publishing ... 8)
DeleteObviously, I approved! LOL!
Funny ♥ I must have blinked when I hit the key.
DeleteGlad you saw the acorn layers, too.
You really captured the regal essence of the eagle! I've always found them a little scary when I've seen them in person; still I would rather have an eagle as the symbol of America rather than Ben Franklin's choice--a turkey!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the American Bald Eagle as our symbol too, turkey is for Thanksgiving ... Christmas ... and Easter.
ReplyDeleteI remember the first time I saw an eagle swoop down over a lake and grab a fish out of the water, it was awesome!
Thanks Debbie, I happy that you feel I captured the regal essence of the eagle.... 8)
The word "regale" comes to mine. Really nice Karen!
ReplyDeleteLia, this is a first! You are the first person from your family, my family or Jim's family to ever leave a comment on my blog since I started it back in 2010 ... Thank You!
DeleteOh ... I was so surprised by your visiting my blog I forgot to thank you for the nice compliment you left about my eagle ... perhaps I should rename this piece "Regale Eagle"?
Big Hugs Lia! Feel welcome to come and visit anytime!
This eagle is so majestic. I am in utter awe over your talent sweetie. Warmest hugs, Mina
ReplyDeleteMina, you are so sweet with your compliments ... thank you. Big hugs to you too, Mina, one of my dear "Friends and Sistas"! 8)
