Beach Scene WIP - Day 10

Today was glorious outside!  In the low 80's .... I was so distracted I put very little time into the illustration ... I did mange to finish the jeans and begin working on the hands.

Tomorrow is back down to the low 60's so I'll most likely get a lot more accomplished....

Happy Day!

Beach Scene WIP - Day 8

I'm finished with the sand area of the scene for now, will probably add more shading once the little girl is finished.  Tomorrow I hope to begin work on her clothing and hands, I am planning to save the face and hair for the last segments of this WIP.

Company for dinner tonight so this will have to be as far as I go today!

Happy Day!

"Twin Horned Toad Lizards"

I have illustrated zentangle inspired salmon, flounder, crawdads, and geckos ... last week my husband asked me to create a zentangle inspired drawing featuring Horned Toad Lizards, when he was a young lad he had one as a pet and he really likes them! Well, I will tell you, this was one of the hardest drawings I have ever done! It took over two days of sketching before I finally came up with a shape that he was happy with and wow, was he ever particular! I am happy to say, we are still married!

So here you go .... Jim's "Twin Horned Toad Lizards"

"The Letter L"

If you haven't figured it out by now, the letter Lorrie of DivineDesignStudios chose was "The Letter L"! This latest illustration will be listed in My Etsy Shop as an authorized art print, size 8"x10"; as well as an ACEO Open Edition, size 2.5"x3.5".   I now have nine letters completed and only seventeen more to go!

And the person who guessed "The Letter L" correctly was Stacy of MagicLoveCrow, this is the second time Stacy has been the first to guess a letter.  So you are all up against some stiff competition!  Stacy has chosen another letter and I am currently happily working on it.

My clue to this new letter is, which letter is common to four months of the yearly calendar?

For now, I am happy to share with you

"The Letter L"

Take care all!
