I have decided I need to learn how to illustrate water droplets and here is my first attempt. This was done on a blue colored piece of cardstock using Prismacolor Premier Pencils and Prismacolor Verithin Pencils on an ACEO (2.5" x 3.5") sized format.
I am selling the original of this in my Etsy Shop and I will not be making any open edition or limited edition copies. I will be creating more of these little ACEO Water Droplet ACEO's in the coming days until I finally get the hang of illustrating realistic water drops. I will also be selling all these little originals ... so, in essence, these will all be OOAK (one of a kind) pieces with no reproductions available.
Happy day!
Karen Anne
Very cool Karen Anne!! Love the color!! Well done ;o)
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacy ... I don't have any other projects in mind for right now so I thought I'd work on little pieces for awhile...
ReplyDeleteThey look so real Karen Anne I really love them :) Love the way you can tackle anything & get great results!
ReplyDeleteWater and glass have to be two of the hardest things to capture! You did a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteI never thought about doing this ... what a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappiness to all.
Hi Shelle! Talk about tackling anything and doing a good job - I think you top that list! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! I think a glass vase or glass tumbler or glass jar will have to be tried soon ... illustrating glass and water are difficult.
Hi ArtSings! It is a fun thing to do, it accomplishes two things ... 1. I learn new techniques and 2. I create an ACEO that I can sell in my Etsy Shop!
I want to thank you all for your kind comments, you all help to encourage me to try new things!
Big hugs!
